(Abstrakt 1/4)

This music was composed (or rather performed live) during my winter time of insight from December to early March. It consists mainly of orchestral and chamber music samples being treated in many frantic unorthodox ways, oftentimes incorporating random elements. It is my attempt to avoid the rhythmic grid that is being pushed our way by many of the digital audio workstations. My aim was to make music that is breathing at its own loose pace. Every piece started with a simple musical phrase or a treatment patch, was recorded while I was playing and changing various parameters and then edited down to a more concise form.

Inspired by the German and Austrian experimental electronic music scene from the turn of the millennium.
